Not being able to gather with family because of a lockd0wn has been really hard to wrap my head around and I'm not going to lie I've had a couple tearful pity parties about it😢... My sisters (hey @organizedwithkids & @the_red_barn_loft !) have talked about how we need to "pivot" our perspective, and our plans, to make this Christmas still as magical as any other. ⁠⠀

So, I've started a daily Christmas activities advent calendar with Hemsley, Justin has been moving our 'Elf On The Shelf' around into funny spots in the house, we are planning a family zoom session on Christmas Eve, and we are choosing to embrace the opportunity to actually hunker down at home and have a relaxing holiday as we are usually on the road a lot this time of year. ⁠❤️
