FAQs
Do vegan buffalo cauliflower wings taste like chicken?
No, I’d be lying if I said that this recipe actually tastes like chicken because let’s be honest- it tastes like cauliflower. That said, it’s actually really good and is a great substitution for chicken (even if it doesn’t taste identical). It is sure to be satisfying and tasty. If you crave that buffalo sauce heat and that crispy bite of chicken in every bite then these florets are sure to hit the spot.
How long are cauliflower wings good for?
These wings can last up to a couple of days when stored in an airtight container in the fridge but they really do taste the best when they are hot and fresh right out of the oven because that is when the texture and crunch are on point. When the cauliflower has aged and sat for a bit, the outer crunch will soften thanks to the moisture in the cauliflower so make sure to only prepare these bites when you’re ready to eat them and not too soon beforehand.
How to reheat cauliflower bites
You can reheat these vegan wings by placing them onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and baking in the oven for 8 minutes at 400 degrees F. This should help to revive some of that crunchy texture you lost during storage.
