This no-sugar chocolate mousse is a recipe made with just 6 ingredients and it comes together pretty quickly too. After letting the mousse chill in the fridge to perfection we get a dessert we almost don’t want to share.

This diabetic-friendly chocolate mousse is adjustable and adaptable to your own tastes because you can add a little more sweetener or switch out an ingredient or two for a more unique texture and taste.   • Dark chocolate
  • Egg whites
  • Liquid stevia 
  • Vanilla extract

How to Make Sugar-free Chocolate Mousse

In a mixing bowl combine the greek yogurt with the cream cheese, liquid stevia, and vanilla extract until combined.

In another bowl, melt your dark chocolate in the microwave for 60 seconds or until completely melted and smooth.

Add your melted chocolate to the bowl with the cream cheese mixture. stir well to combine.

In another bowl, place your two egg white.

Beat them with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.

Gently fold the egg white into the chocolate mixture until incorporated. Be gentle so that the mousse stays fluffy and soft.

Divide the mousse into 4 small ramekins or glasses.

Place into the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours.

Garnish with freshly whipped cream, shaved chocolate, or fresh strawberries or raspberries before serving.

  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 4 oz dark chocolate
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp liquid stevia (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix greek yogurt with cream cheese, liquid stevia, and vanilla extract. Then, melt the dark chocolate in the microwave for 60 seconds or until completely melted.  Add melted chocolate to the bowl with cream cheese. Stir until well combined.
  2. Place two egg whites in a bowl. Beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks. Gently, fold egg whites in the mousse bowl until evenly incorporated. Be gentle, so the mousse ends up fluffy and soft.
  3. Divide your mousse into four small ramekins or small glasses. Refrigerate the mousse for at least two hours.
