FAQs

How long to air fry chicken breasts?

At 350 degrees F, you will cook your chicken slower at about 30 minutes, but for the faster cooking time, we do 400 degrees F for about 10 minutes. The end results speak for themselves with a crisp outer layer sealing in a juicy chicken. The actual amount of time needed to cook your chicken breast will vary depending on the size of the breast as they can vary greatly in size. For this recipe, we use about 4-6 ounce sized breasts.

Do you preheat air fryer for chicken?

You should always give your air fryer a quick 3 minute preheat before cooking any foods to make sure that they cook properly. To do this either select the preheat button on your air fryer or set the temp to whatever you plan on using and set the timer for 3 minutes before adding in your meal.

What is the temperature for chicken?

You will know that your chicken has finished properly cooking when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. This is the reading that you should receive from the center of the largest part of the breast.
