Tips and Variations for this Dish

Try these tips and variations for a dish that meets your preferences:

  • Eat the cheese as written sprinkled on top or melt the cheese. I recommend using an air fryer if you want to melt the cheese on top.
  • Use any kind of cheese you like: queso fresco, feta, cotija, or pepper jack.
  • If you want a spicier dish, add diced jalapeno pepper to the avocado mixture or more chili flakes to the beef mixture.
  • To make it even more filling, add some cooked black beans or corn kernels to the beef.
  • Serve the remaining mashed avocado dip with warm tortillas or chips.
  • Feel free to add more toppings, such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, pickled jalapenos, and salsa for extra flavor.
  • If desired, turn the avocado pulp into proper guacamole and fill the avocados with it.
