Do I need a special blender?
No! Any run-of the-mill blender will do. If you have a high-speed blender such as a Vitamix, that’s amazing, but if you have a 15-year-old clunker that still runs, use that, you might just need to blend your smoothie a little longer so that everything is well incorporated!
How does this smoothie cleanse really “cleanse” the body?
By replacing one meal with an easily digested, nutrient-dense smoothie that contains specific ingredients that help to support the body’s natural detoxifcation systems. You’ll also be doing other tasks including increasing water intake, drinking lemon water which stimulates detoxification, and moving your body each day! I explain more about this all in the guide!
Am I replacing an entire meal with a smoothie?
Yes, each day of the 10-day cleanse you will swap out one meal for one of the green smoothie recipes. The smoothie to drink each day is clearly stated as well as when the best time to drink it is! If you don’t think a smoothie will be enough, not to worry, there’s a whole troubleshooting section in the guide that addresses concerns like this!
Are the smoothies gluten free/dairy free/vegan, etc?
Every smoothie is gluten free, dairy free, and has a vegan option (many of the smoothies contain honey which is not vegan, but I provide vegan options to replace the honey).
When am I supposed to drink the smoothies?
Each day you will have a smoothie at either breakfast, lunch, or dinner time, you can choose which is most convenient for you.
What kind of ingredients are required?
99% of the ingredients can be found at your local grocery store, and are mainly fresh produce (fruits and vegetables), frozen produce (frozen fruits), nut butters, seeds, liquids, and a few other items.
Are the ingredients expensive?
No, most of the ingredients needed are fruits and vegetables.
Are there any “weird” ingredients?
There is one smoothie that contains an ingredient called “spirulina” which is the only ingredient in the whole cleanse that may be one you haven’t heard of before. This ingredient is also optional, and I explain what it is and where to find it in the guide.
What if I don’t like one of the smoothies?
I highly doubt you won’t like them all (ha!) but if one doesn’t suit your fancy you can simply swap it out for another smoothie recipe in the guide.
What if I have a question during the cleanse?

Is this safe to do when pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes! During the cleanse you will not be eliminating foods, cutting calories, or taking any herbs or supplements. You will only be using natural, whole-food ingredients which are all safe to consume during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Note: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you will need to ensure that the brand of protein powder you use (this is up to you, I explain more in the guide) is safe to take during pregancy and breastfeeding and does not contain added herbs. For example, a plain brown rice protein powder (only ingredient is brown rice) is safe during pregnancy whereas an ehanced protein powder that contains added herbs is not.
Will I lose weight?
Weight loss is defintely a possibility during this cleanse but not guaranteed as every body is different and starts from a different place. Weight loss from this cleanse could occur from the elimination of waste and toxins in your digestive system, a reduction of water retention, and a reduction of inflammation in the body.
Is this a printed book or an e-book?
