FAQs
Should you cut brussel sprouts in half before cooking?
If the brussel sprouts are small you can leave them whole but if they are bigger than a quarter then you should slice them in half for even cooking, and faster cooking times. You can quarter the even larger brussel sprouts if needed as some brussel sprouts can often be about the size of a baby’s fist!
Are air fried vegetables healthy?
Air frying vegetables can reduce the need for added fats by about 70-80% making it a much healthier alternative to standard cooking methods.
Why are my roasted brussel sprouts mushy?
This usually happens as a result of overcooking the sprouts. Because different air fryers may heat differently you should keep an eye on your sprouts towards the last 2 or 3 minutes to make sure that they don’t become overcooked, burnt, or mushy.
